I can address issues in Technical Reviews & Inspections from many perspectives. Since 1981, I've worked with Review and Inspection implementation and training programs across a variety of organizations, including: Bell Labs, Israel Aircraft Industries, Motorola, Unisys, Societe Internationale de Telecommunications Aeronautiques, Memorex, and Ericsson. For eight years I was the technical lead of Bell Labs' corporate Software QA and Process Assessment efforts, and after that I consulted independently and through the Institute for Zero Defect Software. During the 80's, I was a core member of the IEEE's standards effort on "Reviews, Inspections, and Audits", and I organized and taught the IEEE's Software Engineering Seminar for that standard. I have worked for improving software quality through other endeavors, also, providing a broad perspective on the process improvement field. In addition to my current consulting, I am also teaching and pursuing doctoral studies in Software Engineering & Machine Learning at Colorado State University.
