HomeBack Text/Image Alignment

Image objects and character objects can be combined to form links and paragraphs.  When characters and image(s) are adjacent to each other on a web page (i.e., not separated by an ENTER or RETURN keystroke), the Align attribute determines how the image is positioned relative to the surrounding text.

The following table shows the effect of the seven image alignment options provided by these buttons. In each cell below, the Image is inserted between the words "THE PLAY:" and "I was in..."
 

THE PLAY: I was in a play called Snow White. All the Trees wave their arms and pretend to scratch and frighten her as she runs back and forth. I got to make mean faces and growl at her and scratch with my fingers.

Wrapping text around an image

These two buttons indicate an image on the left or right, and text wrapped around the image.  Composer, however, does not show the effect of text wrap-around!
